    Hi,

My son is going down to Melbourne to Sumoto to look at 250 learners.
Anyone have adverse experience with this group? How do they handle
warranty (we live in NSW? We saw their advert in Just Bikes.

    thanks

    Morning all,

I don't know what they are like now, but a couple of years ago there was
a large shite-storm here in aus.moto about them. The over-all opinion
    was extremely negative.
    Cheers,

I got my CBR250RR from them and it looked as new, but boy did I pay through
    my nose for that luxury.

I'd say take a stroll down Elisabeth street instead.

    Sorry, shoulda said: DON'T
They've got a crappy reputation, seen quite a few bikes from there over the
last few years and listened to plenty of stories.
Let's hope Vic get's the LAM's rather sooner than later and wipes out the
    whole grey-250 business.
Some of the bikes are ok, if you know what to look for and know a bit about
    bikes.
If you're "green" to the game, chances are...

    cheers

you know plenty about bikes and know what to look for.
Most 250-buyers are newbies at it and have to rely on what they're told by
    some sales-guys.
    cheers

  19. Maybe, once the rego and CTP are the same for 250s......

Does it make a difference? There isn't much demand for machines > 250cc and <
500cc... which attract the same rego/CTP costs in Victoria as a 250cc.
