Called Brian and he was knee deep in computer problems usenet pussy
style so he couldnt come over. We got the Green One fired up after we
put that Mexico battery on the charger for a while. Bill needs one of
those battery tenders that you folks keep talking about. We couldnt
get him to ride because his wife had just given him a hair cut and he
was affraid his head would get cold. We warmed up the Green One a
little bit and then shut it down. Big Ed hooked the battery charger
back up and we put the cover back on the bike. Big Ed brought me some
deer jerky that he made and I shared it with Bill. He ate the whole
damn bag. Bills woman fed us some of her home made Tamales and she
fixed us up with some to go for our spouses. I have eat several meals
at the Walkers Ranch and I can testify that his woman can whoop up
    some fine grazin.

Me, Big Ed and Bill set out on the porch and they drank coffee and
both smoked about 10 cigars each. Bill offered Big Ed one of his fine
cigars but Ed turned him down. I think it was because the cigars Bill
had were to skinny and Big Ed likes a BIg Fat one in his
    mouth....cigar that is.

We sat and fellowshipped a while and then decided we better start
making out way home before the sun started setting and the temp start
dropping. Big Ed and I kissed Bill and Magda bye and we rode off.

Thanks for breakfast this morning Ed and for the jerky. Need more
jerky and dont be telling amyone that you gave me some this time so I
    dont have to share.

I forgot to add in that we called Morgan Kane. He was to busy to talk
at the time but he did call me back later. It was nice talking to you
Morgan...We will all try to make a trip to Houston as soon a Bill is
up to the trip. He is wanting to make the trip soon.

<chuckle> I'll just bet that a lot of ears were burning during our little
    visit.. Can't
think of anyone we didn't talk about..

Sure was glad to see you boys out and about.. It was a nice day, although
    just
a bit chilly.. I thoroughly enjoyed the little "visit" and I'd safely guess
    that the
Green One was properly impressed.. First time the poor thing had been un-
covered in a long time.. hehehe.. That Mexico battery don't have much
    staying
power and it was well past time for it to get some attention.. hmmm.. Guess
that is going to be one of the first things to be attended to, when it is
    time to
ungear that sucker and ride it again..

    Come again, soon.. guys..

Glad you enjoyed the tamales.. lol. That Venison jerky sure hit the spot..
Next time, Big Ed is just going to have to pack more..

Meantime, I imagine that David has got the correct battery cooking off
for me, over at Grapevine.. Soon as I work up the energy, I'll be making
that little trip.. It's time to drop that Mexico trip oil and put in fresh..
    Might
as well tend to that battery change, at the same time.. right ?

Besides.. David has got a set of air horns that he thinks will look real
good on the right side of the Green One.. Can't wait to hear the sound
of a real horn, instead of that irritating "beep.. beep" business.. lol

Dunno how the weather is looking, but I should be free Saturday evening
or Sunday between brunch and dinner of next week if you skids make
something happen :). Anything longer range than that and I dunno. Sorry,
but I'm pretty sure the pork tenderloin, mustard greens and blackeyed
peas will all be gone by then.
