10am when I pulled out this morning, running a little late. Up the road
about 50 miles I met with RedShad and Big Ed, they had been waiting on my
late running ass and I had to start the day out with a lie to smooth things.
We did some circles on the Walmart parking to get our GPS's sync'd with the
satellites for the short East Tx area and hit that hwy 80. After several
miles we exited and noticed some riders approaching the 4 way stop. It was
the damn BJay, HoneyJay, and KB, the sil. We visited a while and BJay
revealed he had a screw in his front tire that needed a decision. The
decision was to check the air and ignore it and run a few miles together.
First we had to fuel up our youthful bodies and did so at the Cotton Gin
Restaurant in Crandall. The Cotton Gin has some reserved parking for
motorcycles and there were a few others there when we arrived. We had a very
tasty meal and I'll sure try that place again.
When you run into someone you haven't seen in awhile it takes another while
to tell the stories, etc. We got that done and went to the parking lot and
talked some more about the screw BJay had picked up in his front tire. We
hemhawed about the solution and decided the screw was one of the better
plugs made and decided to leave it as is. We did restrict BJay speed,
account the screw, to Big Ed speed. That way BJay would be at a safe speed
and Big Ed would have company, RedShad and the rest of us were going to run.
It wasn't long until BJay grew tired of the speed restrictions and joined us
up front, saying he would just keep an eye on the screw. Big Ed got lonely
and spun up the big V4 so we could run as a group, sporadically I should
say. We stopped by the motorcycle place in Terrell and listened to some
pipes. I had to plow so we headed in after a nice day of riding, very
enjoyable. BJay tell your kin they acted right and I'm glad I got to meet
    them.

I took a couple of pics and just grouped them in with some I shot the last
few days of area rides -

After we ate at the Cotton Gin, BJ wanted to do some more riding so we
hit highway 175 east to 198. We rode 198 into Canton and fueled up the
bikes on highway 19. We ran highway 19 thru town. It was First Monday
weekend so there was alot of traffic. We made it over the bridge at
I-20 and headed up the service road west bound to highway 859. We rode
859 headed to Edgewood when I saw my uncle working on my grandmas car.
I honked at him and shut down the Silver One. I think I shut down a
little to fast because Big Ed on the BB tried to run me over. I was
trying to make a u-turn without hitting the ditch and Big Ed on the BB
tried to run over me again. He needs to slow that damn thing down
before someone gets hurt. We ratchetjawed with my uncle a few
minutes..I hugged my grandma and talked to her a minute and back on
the road we went. We stopped at a custom bike building slash bar type
deal. Lots of Harley riders drinking beer and showing off. When one
would leave the parking lot, they had to make sure and show off there
pipes and how fast they could go. We took a few pictures there and we
hit the road again. BJ split off at his split off and Big Ed his I
guess. Louie and I waved at Big Ed as we went by him doing the speed
limit. Louie continued on to cowtown and I to colored town.

It was nice to see BJ again and meet Honey. She looked to good to be
with BJ. BJ's son-in-law sure has a sharp Harley. Good to meet him
also. Thanks to Louie for a good lunch and we all had a good ride.

Can you believe it? KB and I, were out riding and came up on you
fellers, there at the 548 exit in Forney. Who would have thunk it.
    Simply Amazing.

    Just messing around.
    It was a plan.
We planned it out, I think?
Seems we changed the meeting day, time and area, once or twice, I can'
    remember.

But look how good the 4th plan worked out. We syncrinized the place so
well, that we pulled up to that intersetion at the very same minute.
Ya'll saw us,and we saw ya'll, with Ed in the Lead.

My sil was impressed that ya'll turned out to be real. You know he
thought it could possibly turn out to be some kinda hoax.
That maybe you guys would show up, all packed in an old worn out station
wagon, or something of the kind.

Louie, again, he wanted me to tell you ''much oblidged'' for the lunch.
Same goes for HoneyJay and Me.
    (chuckle)

Now in Big Eds defense, You overlooked to mention how he took the lead
thru Terrell, and stayed in the lead to safely get us to the ''Bikers
    Bar Place'' out on 80.

And also how he took the lead, when we left there, with me and the Maggy
fairly close behind him, and how far we left you guys, when we hooked
    em'.

I'm telling ya', I barely could stay up with him. He was boogie'n. I was
behind him and exited on 548 at Forney, and he waved but yet blue
streaked on, out of sight in seconds.

This morning, the trip home for Honeyjay and I was, for some reason, so
    very pleasant. unnnhuh. Amazing.

We didnt even wear our Leather uniforms.
We just took off from the McDonalds at Forney about 930am this morning,
and back to Texarkana, and, didnt stop, once. HoneyJay even managed to
doze some bit, as we traveled down the 30 Slab.
Dontcha think that is unusual, not stoping a coupla times. Think about
    it.

Oh, we were fairly tired when we got home naturally, hail’ it's 175
    dern miles, you know. (shoot)

Don't want to forget to mention; that The Red-Shad is certainly a good
tour riding leader. That Silver GW, will scoot, and do it so clean and
    smooth, and 'zippy quiet'.

Oh, wait a minute, about Red-Shads Uncle, he must be all of 3 years
older than RS. One of his old Uncles, and we almost crashed on a one
laner road, when he stoped to visit, and turned that big Silver Barge
around on a nickel! ''not a dime, but a nickel'' of which is good'', for
that big Honda Hog. heh-heh. Later, bjay.

Barge hadnt tried to run over me half way thru me turn...Over

I had a' sneaking suspecion you two were close in age. Your uncle was a
character, I could tell that. I laffed. when he said
''ya'll want sumpin' to drank?'' I dont have anythang' but beer''.

Yeah buddy, there =was= another Barge streaking up on us.
Of all the times for Ed to goose that lovely looking RSV Barge, he did
it about the moment when you saw Uncle Floyd, and decided you must
    brake. <g>
