The World Supers are gunna be shown on SBS this year--to be broadcast
on the Sunday of the following week at 12:30pm.
Probably a highlights package (like channel 10 had a year or two
    back?)
Better than not seeing any racing at all on free-to-air...
There's a news item in the new AMCN about it.
    Yay!!

Sadly only 30mins duration though (out of a 4-5hr telecast!)
Still; $600 cheaper than having pay TV.

What's wrong with it? Time to split the cases?

I like the way you carefully snip out the bit that you're asking the
question about Bill. (Or was it your news-reader?)
Assuming you're referring to "the Trump has a few more problems than I'd
previously thought ...." I've discovered that the lower triple-clamp is bent
and so is the right clip-on.
Neither is straightenable (the clip-on is light alloy) and I can't find a
    replacement here in Brisneyland.
Even if I do manage to get the bits and re-assemble before I have to leave
in 6 days I still have to get an engineer's inspection to get the "write
off" lifted (otherwise I'd be happy to ride it a-bit-bent).
Apart from that I'm getting a bit broke so it's time now to take a bit of a
    reality-check ..... [sob].
Still; when all is said and done and all the pros and cons weighed up after
    all things are considered
    I blame Betty!

Yep, bloody newsreader. Noticed as soon as I posted. I figured
everyone except Nev would work out what I getting at...

    Bugger about the Trump though.

Geez Clem, just because _I_ am broke and sensible (and a piker!) you didn't
    have to copy!

Bugger about the Trumpy... see if you can get it fixed for the motoGP, eh?
    <evil grin>

Free to air is worth what you pay for it. Why winge about what's free?

Do we know of a pub in Melbourne that shows it live (Assuming times
are ok and it's not 3am!)

I've got a pair of bent Trump ones!
(They've been angle-grindered into several pieces though)

    Naah; it's cast Johnno.

I made a mug of myself today.
Peter Gray at Pipemasters told me he might be able to straighten the
handlebar but he'd have to anneal it. First you cover the area in
candle-soot and then hit it with the oxy-torch just until you've burnt off
    the soot.....
When I showed up with my handlebar and a candle I learned, much to their
mirth, that candle-soot is what's produced from the oxy-torch when it's just
    burning acetylene!
If it breaks then there's one in Adelaide for $85 plus freight......

    No-one seems to have a triple-clamp though.....
