  3. Yeah, no kidding! Made it from Santa Clara to the Oakland hills above
    the Caldecott Tunnel in only 45 min. (in my cage). No slowdowns
    whatsoever on 880.

    Oh, that must have been why my bile didn't go off from braindead
    cagers today...the superbowl thingy, whatever it is.

    I rode with a group of about 8 bikes up to Temecula and through
    Fallbrook and Vista. We encountered quite a few other group rides today
    .. Steep rollercoaster hills and scents of citrus and redwood. Once out
    of the marine layer, it was sunny and warm and I was surprised to be
    back in the fog when I returned to Hillcrest.

    Dropped my partner at Lindbergh after the first quarter. Shopping for
    supper was a breeze.

    I went up to Cuyamaca and back. It was as if Xenu came and vacuumed
    everyone off the planet.
