FFS, if you're going to pluralise, please do so properly.

    It's "Supersman".

Acksherly, it depends on what you mean, when Superman died in 1992,
literally in a fight to the death with a monster called Doomsday (those in
the know will realise the irony of Doomsday's origins) 4 more Supermen rose
    to take his place!
    1. A half superman / half cyborg
    2. One that looks exactly like superman, but no blues and reds, just a black
skin tight suit but with the S emblem. This guy kills criminals though.
    3. A young cocky version of Superman / SuperBoy
    4. Wild card. The only one that never claimed to be Superman at all but took
up the mantle as a tribute to the man for once saving his life. Course, hes
built like a brick shithouse and used to be the USAs foremost expert on
weapons so builds a steel suit, calls himself Steel and fights the good
    fight.

I've come to the conclusion that I've married a lazy cow. She's not
    even trying, FFS.

Cane bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the
    lines of:
I don't really care. The man was a **** in real life.

See, I was never into marvel to be honest, just DC, not for any other real
reson other than the one and only super hero for me was Batman.
Good point, I guess some are / were secrets, but certainly there must be
many that could have been replicated.
*heh* What about Wolverine? wasnt he a military experiment or summat?
Granted though, out of all the superheroes he's the only one that springs to
    mind.
LOL. Superman had his mammy, Batman has his butler :)
Ah, what of Mr. Freeze? His underlying motive was always to find a cure for
    his wife.
    Good point, well batted.
    *heh*
I am seriously considering getting up into the loft and unboxing my
collection of 300 - 400 comics and starting from the beginning.
The Death of Superman series and the Bane / Batman / Azreal series made
    great reading first time round.

Well all mutants got them in the same way. And there's a whole smorgasbord
    of radiation-infested superspazes.
If you've seen Spiderman you'll see the problems inherent in the system.
There are two at least: The Tinkerer (Spiderman); And The U Men -mutant
genetic mutation to order (X men)

Re-published? I got into them first time round: late 60s/early 70s. In
    fact, there's a few lying around atm: X-Men 20, 57, Spidey 40, Daredevil
53, 56 etc. Hmm. I wonder if these are worth anything?
