Bloody hell this huge and heavy cast they've put over my arm is annoying the shit outta me!!

Turns out I'd made more of a mess of my elbow than the x-rays led all to believe. Half the radial
head had broken off, and the broken piece had itself broken a coupla times. So I now have 3 screws
holding that all together. Also I've damaged the surface of the elbow "cup" which could lead to fun
and games later in life. :-/

  12. Analgesic tip: Give him half the prescribed dose twice as often. It will
reduce the top end but improve the bottom end. Flattens out the hurt
    curve, so to speak[1].

Pete ....and tell the quack opiates constipate him less than codeine[1][2]!

    2. Sorry Sharks.

You'll be right! I knackered my back lifting and cutting 27 tonne of
paper in one day[1]. I followed the best advice ever on bad backs[2] and
after ten years had no more pain![3]

    Cheers

    2. "The only operation you have to avoid is the first one ..."
    3. OK since ~1989, not looking forwards to old age[4] though.

  17. Opiates constipate LESS THAN codeine? You mean other opiates constipate
less than codeine, or this a special codeine that isn't an S8 (and therefore
    ISN'T an opiate)?

  18. You're quite right Hammo. I must've got it mixed up with di-gesic and
panadeine forte though the morph does seem to have less of a binding
effect on me than codeine. I blame the drugs!
