  5. Your lack of conviction is not my problem, is it?

And the fact I'm replying again doesn't count either.

Paul gave a run down, some time ago, on this http://tinyurl.com/ds5m5
and then there was an interesting TV prog which went into a lot of
detail. Beeching was right in what he did, closing services, as they
were haemorrhaging money. As with the coal mines in the Thatcher era
an enormous blunder was made by not retaining and maintaining the
    national infrastructure for future re-use.

Heh we saw lots of them, as Robin is from Atlanta it was the last
    place she wanted to go!
Remember "Paul Masson"? those bottles were great for storing various
garage fluids and one under the bed was always kinda handy too.

We ate in a restaurant called Cyrus in Healdsburg CA recently while
over collection the SOC 356C. It turned into about the best and most
expensive meal ever! In the tasting menu was a Californian Zinfandel.
It stood up well against a good St Emilion. Things have changed.

<G> Well, tell the French that they should remember that most of their
wine comes from American grapes anyway. :)

There may be plenty, but IME they aren't available.

I had to put 25,000ukp sterling on my credit card for excess baggage
    for 7 people. Same airline.

it would probably have been cheaper if you'd just booked business class
    seats for them.

Don't think so; it was a metric tonne of excess baggage.

    Show off.
Suppose you needed to take enough booze and porn to last the contract.
