oh, I've always been on that thiazide as well. So taking a 3 drug combo and
still my diastolic pressure remains over 90 most of the time.

Although my cholestorol likes to hover in the 6-8 range my BP is right at
the bottom of the healthy scale and my resting heartbeat is good, so I
didn't mind binning the statins. Should go without saying that in other
circumstances one would persevere and find one which suited or didn't have
    excessive side effects.

When I was young, I swore that if I ever got old, I'd never rant about
all my aches and pains. There was nothing so pathetic as a bunch of
    geezers whining about their health.

So... My simavastatin script ran out months ago, but I haven't
bothered to update it. I think it's because my memory is going and I
keep forgetting to make the call. OTOH, the ruptured disc is still
there, along with the surfer's ear, the dupuytren's, the tremor, and a
few other maladies that only showed up when I became a geezer. Usenet
    isn't dieing, it's the users.

    The statins start tonight :(

Been on Simvastatin for years, no problems, and lower cholesterol
    levels to.

  6. Lisinopril and Amlodipine together seem to work for me fine although I
do have a stock of Bendroflumethiazide approved by my quack 'just in
    case'.

Amlodipine is the generic name of Istin, which I react to. Lisinopril is an
ACE inhibitor which I will react to in the same was as perindopril
