Talking of Chimay - have you booked the weekend off yet?

This goes for that useless stayabed, WUN, also.

If I get my version of the plan approved then the aim will be to leave
here on the Thursday evening, hotel in Calais, Chimay by lunchtime,
drink beer and watch bike racing until Monday mid morning and then
    head home.

Adies version might involve less time at Chimay and less beer
    drinking.

If the last one is anything to go by it'll probably involve taking your
bike keys off you as soon as you park up, as well.

I've just had a great money-making idea: we send BGN off to cruise the
fleshpots of Brighton on his Tiger, follow him around with a film crew, and
sell the result to the BBC under the working title of "Wrong Way Round".

I've a vague plan of doing all the IHRO meetings this year. Laura reckons
she'll drive over to Chimay on her own, sleep in the car and return loaded
to the gunwales with the eponymous ale. Assuming she passes her driving
    test, of course...

  17. What would you know about that? Apart from raising my blood pressure
slightly, your post has done nothing to improve the quality of anything
as far as I can tell.

There, there. Never mind. I thought it was an excellent idea.[/QUOTE]

Any **** who can even consider starting a paragraph with a smiley and
then ending it with a glummie deserves to have a Coke bottle filled
with boiling water shoved all the way up his arse, then to have it
smashed with repeated heavy blows from a crowbar. IMHO.

    and me from my Son!

2 episodes down and rather good though so far I have wondered:

Why take the heaviest trail bike going
Why not organise gel seats before going
Why not start out with properly waterproof clothing
