    Of course they would count for something, but not when you're listing riders
    who have competed against Rossi. Mind you Hatz has conveniently restricted
    his list of "Rossi's toughest competitors" to two riders, who between them
    have won only 1 race against him. The list of his toughest competitors should
    of course be Roberts and McCoy, the only two riders who have each won more
    races than Rossi in a single 500cc/MotoGP season.

    Yeh Clem, correct, same as young Hailwood started on the 125's. When
    Mike the bike went to Honda (1966) Ago became MV's lead rider - MV
    only contested the 350 / 500 cc classes.
