thanks to all of you who offered supportive thoughts :)

there were a couple of minor hiccups, but nothing the punters would
    notice (though my tutor did).

    now that's over, what next?

I didn't post, but I was thinking good thoughts for you.
    They usually do.
I don't have a clue to what you were doing. Holiday in Greece maybe?

  11. Sweet. So, that's the end of academia? or more to follow?
A bloody great celebratory curry I should think.

    Whaddya fancy? working? playing? travelling?

oooh, you could do the UKRM Calendar - that would almost cover all the
    above.

currently writing a proposal for research MMus but i have two options
for the subject area, plus a decision over whether to start in september
or february (dependent on finances, place to live, that sort of boring
    stuff).
    working - yes, need dosh
    playing - you offering? ;)
    travelling - ohhhh yes

i need to get back into more singing - this year has been full of
dissertation and essays and very short of music. for preference, i'd
like to form a voices-and-viols consort, but i'll sing anything except
puppypop and c&w - including backing vocals ;)

    jazz jam next Monday :))
