I have been asked to help sell a V registered import. 15,000 kilometres
displayed. No MOT since Oct 2003 and SORN'd. See
    http://www.photomonkeys.co.uk/bike4sale.

I would appreciate advice on what it's worth. Plan to take it to the next
Kempton in August if it is not sold by then.

ukrmC and Kempton.....what strikes me is this is a modern bike and not a
classic or vintage. Wouldn't it be sold through the "normal" channels,
    autotrader/loot etc.

Funny, I always thought it was 12 as well, but the dvla page says "up
    to 125cc and a power output of 11kw (14.6bhp)."

Oddly enough I always thought it was 14.7kw and would appear to have
    also been wrong.

So it seems that we are all iggerrant idiots but at least I have the
satisfaction of not being as iggerrant as yo.

Eh? But your 14.7kw it much further out than my 12bhp. Which makes you
    the more ignorant, so nerr.

    Bugger.

    Although....

In truth not, as it was the idiot in me that caused me to type kw
instead of bhp. Other than that I would have been right.

  9. I think they changed it about the time all the other stuff changed.
definitely used to be 12BHP, 'cos they downrated the honda dream twin from
16.5 to 12 for later models.
