Suzuki GT750 3-into-1 Expansion Chambers any good?

They sell for $495 and look good but how do they sound and work?
It looks like the only exhaust you can buy still buy NEW for the
Suzuki GT750 LeMans. I never heard of a 3 into 1 expansion chamber
before this one. Is it better than one pipe for each cylinder
or does it just look cooler?

"You can pay $600 for a 3-into-3 system which looks like hell and
sounds like seventeen drunk Hodakas. Or you can order this sexy
3-into-1 system from me. It has a neat low rumble and visually
shaves about a hundred pounds off the bike. This system really
gets 'fat' at mid range and bottom. Your gas mileage will increase.
    This is a cafe system."

    I have ridden a GT750 Waterbus with 3 into 1's,

I remember it well, I was at a party in the mid 1970's and as I was the only
one sober (I arrived late) the party was running low on beer and I was asked
to ride up to the pub and get a dozen long necks, the owner of the waterbus
offered to ride pillion on his bike (mine was a single seat ex-cop 750/4
Honda at the time) on the way back from the pub the cops came up behind us
and hit the Christmas lights. As I started to pull over my pillion yelled
that he had a bag of weed in his pocket and would really appreciate it if we
were not stopped. The extra power of the 3 into1's came in very handy that
night. It was an impressive performance as the pillion refused to dump the
long necks and could only hang on with his knees as we did our best to elude
the man. We got away clean although the bike's owner had to keep a low
profile for a while as the cops got his plate and were looking for him.

One of my younger brothers bought the first model (with the double twin
leading shoe front brakes) new. I had a couple of rides on it. It had the
original 2 into 4 exhaust and (for the time) the accelleration was awesome.
He had it for a couple of years and traded it on a Norton Commando 850,
    worst bike he ever owned.

Of course. Really the centre cylinder into two with the outer cylinders
    having one exhaust each.

    I remember Geoff Sim racing a 3into 1 chambered H2 kawa in the early-mid
    70's at Amaroo Park.
That particular pipe gave it a heap more mid range grunt but it refused
to rev out - I think they gave up on it after that because the mid
section of the pipe would have had to have been so big it wouldn't fit
    under the bike!

There were a few Suzuki Waterbottles on the road with 3 into 1 chambers
    tho. - I can't remember brand names.
