    Greetings, Aus-motions

For the information of anyone on Australia's big island I haven't been in
touch with yet, I'm doing a cruise across Bass Strait to look at whatever
available RE5s are unearthed. Arriving Melbourne on the morning of the 24th
July. Returning to Tasmania Sunday night.

So far there's a couple in Melbourne (c/- Brian Cutler) that are on the
shortlist, with another in Sydney that I hope to find the time to see.

There's also a bike in Brisbane (via Rob & Marion's friend) that ~maybe~
I'll get sufficiently enthused to fly up for: depends if any closer to home
    attract my pocket-money.

I would be very happy to hear of any other RE5 Suzukis out there that are
    for sale.
Obviously it's easier for me to get to the Sydney- Melbourne-Adelaide
    triangle, but anything's possible.

Bike preferred: "renovator's opportunity". Hopefully something that starts,
but not mandatory. Bikes in well-restored condition aren't really my
cup-of-tea: I'm looking at a custom outcome rather than showroom
restoration, but if somebody's got one to sell, I'm certainly willing to
    make an offer.

I can be contacted via email to:
(user name) purple_xs2 (at server) southcom.com (country) au,
or my mobile 'phone number is:
    0413 885368
I've been running a 'bike wanted' ad in "Just Bikes" , June & July issues,
where you'll find my mobile number if you lose track.

    Ciao,

    Larry

  3. Sort your spare change into stacks of $3.50 each, and warm up your
    nut-kicking foot...

    Pat:
Either you speak from an astral plane beyond my feeble comprehension, or
perhaps you're advising me to practise kicking would-be RE5 vendors in the
nuts? (but they're probably such nice people, and not all of them would
    necessarily have nuts).

Funnily enough, I do have a mild numismatic mania, whereby I frequently
count my spare change, and stack it into piles on year-of-issue, but I'm,
lost as to the meaning of $3-50.

Though there was a time when RE5 spark-plugs cost $3-50 each, before they
went to $15 ea, (early 80s) to $50 nowadays.

But the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced I don't understand...
    ?;->

May the mystic emanations radiate through the saffron fibres of
    inter-galactic interconnectedness, err, serenely ...

$3.50 and a kick in the nuts is the going rate in ausmoto
You are correct though Pat deos speak from a plane not in synch with the
    rest of the planet.
