SV650 2003 Panniers

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by freenews @ ozemail, Oct 21, 2006.

  1. Im off for a ride for a few weeks and need some panniers.

I hate the things but will need them for this 2 week ride, and will sell
them on ebay if I survive. I don't want to use the bolt on hard pannier
offered by Guvi too expensive and intrusive on bike fixing.

Has anybody used a good cheep easily removeable pannier suitable for a
    SV650?

    Regards

So buy a set of throwovers and some tape to protect the tailpiece.

Way cheaper than hardcases. If you are worried about theft then lock
the zippers and put some grommets in the seatstraps and a bit of cable
    lock.

You are still going to come out a lot cheaper than buying rack and
    hardcases.

I bought Motoline Touring panniers on my last trip and they are quite
adequate and I'll be using them on all trips in future. Only cost about
$100 from the motorbike shop in Armidale, but I'm sure other shops stock
    them as well.
