Swann say's 2/3's of bike accidents are not bikes faults...

    Holy great snapping arseholes Batman!
    Who would have believed such a thing. Them dirty motocyclist have been
    telling the truth!

    Er hem, anyway, the Hun (Herald Sun to youse non Victorians) have an
    article in quoting Swann insurance, saying most bike accidents are
    caused by other vehicles (are ya listening Bracksy! Give us our 50 bucks
    back. We told yas so!)

    Another observation that can be made from this report is that whilst in
    32% of motorcycle fatalities which involved another vehicle, that other
    vehicle was at fault, 27 of the 39 fatalities involved other vehicles.

    This means that roughly 18 (ie 68% of 27) of those fatalities were
    caused by another vehicle. Assuming that in those accidents where no
    other vehicle was involved the motorcyclist themselves must have been at
    fault, this leaves 21 fatalities (54%) in which fault is attributed to
    the rider.
