in Chatswoo by 1:30 or maybe even 1.

Yeah, weather looks a bit suss but I'm not complaining. The water tanks need
it.

I'll leave it to you blokes to decide in the morning and meet any starters a
bit nearer my way at Mt White, Peats Ridge, Mangrove Mountain or Mary's at
Kulnura. Failing that, 10:00am at Berowra if it's not bucketing down? I'm
so confused!

0402 406 082 gets me (feel free to pass that number onto any of your PI
floosies, Dave!).

 

Bugger - woke up for some strange reason - felt the twitch in the right hand
(relating to throttle activities...).

What's with this faaaaarking weather? Looks like back to sleep for me
damnit. Will have another look in a few hours.

get ya mind off it!)! Common sense prevailed, back to sleep until
just now.

This farking weather is faarked! It's pissing down in patches all
over the shop, cats and dogs falling from the sky *and* having it out
with each other on the way down, and you'd have to be bloody mad to go
out in it.


So, 9:30am at Berowra, OK?


Be buggered if I'm gonna take a day off work specially, and
not make something of it! Besides, the road outside my place is
dry now, so it must be dry everywhere, right?

Seriously but, I have issues (peak hour traffic ones) with a 9:00
start, but 9:30 is fine with me. If Brett wants to make it 9:45 or
10:00, then what say we forego the old road and scoot straight up
the freeway to the Peats Ridge exit and head out to Kulnura for
breakfast and a re-evaluation of the weather from there?

I'll show at Berowra at 9:30 unless advised otherwise.

I just went downstairs to get the bike out. As soon as I put
it up on a stand in the driveway, it started pissing with
rain. Sorry 'bout that.


(Taking it off the stand didn't seem to stop the rain either)

Yeah, I got fairly pissed on after I talked to you. Sat around in soggy
clothes drinking coffee and eating breakfast with the other mad bastards at
Mt White 'til the rain eased. Went for a slide back down to the southern
end with them then turned around and headed home. By the time I hit Peats
Ridge the sun was out. Yarramalong valley and the road was dry! Now it's
time for a beer!

 

Changing your minds every two minutes like a bunch of bloody
girls.

As it turned out, the sensible thing to do would have been
to stay at home in front of the telly.

Being pretty much completely insensible, Dave E, Pisshead and
I made it to Mt White where we sat around for an hour or so
bitching about how wet it was and how mad we were to be there,
then... well.. went home.

A great day was had by all.

Certianly better than my day (at work). 100% more motorcycle riding
involved too.

 

Yup - wouldn't have had it any other way. Nice to not have to share your
road with those 'fair weather' types anyway eh?

Thanks boyz and see you on our next squirt - hopefully we'll venture a bit
beyond Mt White next time!
