For what (or what little) it's worth, I've just seen a 'warning'
posted on a number of the web-based motorcycle groups to the
effect that the EPA will be up to their old tricks with a noise/
sticker blitz to the north of Sydney this coming weekend (28th/
29th May). The poster cited no source nor gave any particular
indication of the reliability of the info.

Do with that what you will :)

    GB, not noisy

Well I rode back down the Old Road on Sunday having bought the wife a new
(for her) bike. First time in 10 years I have actually been legal
    noise-wise.

Was told at the cafe that there was a couple of cop cars and a cop bike
cruising around but no EPA to be seen.......................

They were out in force on the Putty. Guy I know got pulled over 3
times. Once was for going 70kmh in an 80 zone. Cop reckoned he was
going to fast for the 30kmh posted corner. Got off with a warning.

I did the old road on Sunday as well. Nothing to be seen that way.

I know of three who got "lots fo tickets" on the old road
yesterday - one girlie got done for exceed speed, insufficient
tread on tyre *and* something else (and she's cute, go figure.
Must have been an ugly female cop).

yeah, as I said heard they were around but personally didn't see them. Lucky
    I guess............

would have been great, "lots fo tickets" on the wife's new R6 would probably
equal a spell in the doghouse

    ck

who is glad he wasn't stopped by an ugly female cop
