    Recap:
    We know that it is:
    1. Smaller than 550cc.
    2. 4 Stroke.
    3. Lozzo is not a nutter - not a not very fast not nutter.
    4. 2 Cylinders
    5. Not Italian.
    6. Not a Harley
    7. Not a BMW
    8. Not a Voxan
    9. Lozzo doesn't like British bikes.

    Assumptions:
    1. It is almost certainly Japanese because of 5,6,7,8 & 9 above

    2. It is not a SOB because he said he want's something that's going to
last all day - unless he bins it (allowing for point 3 above).

    3. Its got to be as fast around Mallory as his burd is going to be on a
650 Bandit and I don't think Loz will take very kindly to being pussy
whipped. (even allowing for point 3 above).

    Got me stumped.

Why? It's a race prepped CB500 cup bike. In the right hands they are
    silly fast.

I recall Graham at GLF telling me about a fast bloke we know called Lee,
who borrowed a ZX-7R to take to a Cadwell track-day, Graham's son went
    along to observe.

Lee was putting in some pretty impressive times, he's a bloody fast road
rider. He came in at the end of one session and asked what his times
were. On being told he was a bit pleased, until Graham's son Kevin, who
now races a ZX-10R for the Diablo 666 team in World Endurance, told him
he'd have been lapping Lee every 7th lap on his old CB500 race bike.

And this reminds me why I've never done a trackday...

I can remain aloof and believe, without proof, that I wouldn't be
utterly crap. Once I do a trackday I *might* find out I'm mediocre but
will probably find out I'm slow. I'll stick to road riding TYVFM.

I got lapped by one last time I was at Mallory, on the Daytona..... :(

Then again, I *am* shite and slow.

I've got some piccies of our John going hell for leather against Toseland
and others in the CB500 cup just in case there are any doubters out there as
to the capabilities of a CB500

It might be an Italian built CB500.
