    ^^^^^^^^^^^^
Shouldn't that be capitalised as well then?
I feel pretty much the same about most preaching types, TBH.

Well fine. In that case, I'm an Atheist, and a Capitalist, and a
Motocyclist, and a Guitarist, and ...hang on, it all seems to have
    gone a bit German here.

  5. I don't really care about most of the gullible fuckwits, they are mostly
old enough and adult enough (imperfect though it may be as a measure of
responsibility) to look out for themselves, and they can believe in what
    they like.
My rifle sights are squarely on those who set out to victimise,
manipulate and capitalise on those backward members of society, to swell
their own numbers. Those are the types I find really unsavoury and the
world could well do without. Not that I really do advocate killing them,
just a mild kicking every now and then to teach them the error of their
    ways.
Right, that's your two minutes up.

I don't think the catlics are too keen on this sort of thing. I showed
this article around the pub last night and there was much shaking of
heads. But after a few swallies opinions started to change. Call me a
missionary - I think I made some sheep think. Talking of which, that
article quotes wotsisname as saying that organising atheists is like
    herding cats.

How wrong can one person be?

The word 'christian' is both an adjective, _and_ a noun...

    http://coughlan.fr/noun_christian.jpg

The usage in this case is very close to French, which if you spoke it
half as well as you believe you do, would have made the concept perhaps
    a little easier to understand...

'il est francais' != 'c'est un Francais'
'elle etait fiere d'etre francaise' != 'tous les Francais sont d'accord'

In other words, 'adjective' means lowercase initial letter; 'noun' means
uppercase initial letter. 'the christian values which he had learned
from birth', versus 'he's a Christian, all right'.

In the latter example, the word 'Christian' fulfils all the criteria to
be a proper noun, and is thus rightly capitalised.

kind of self-limiting in a way.

  10. No. It's not a proper noun. It's a non-proper noun. I'm a bloke, not a
    Bloke.

Last time I got bothered by a christian, it was by someone outside a
church in Brighton. They were quite insistent that I take a little
booklet, until I pointed to a bin and told them that I would walk right
over there and put the booklet in it.

I've found ways to break the scripts of many people trying to push
something on me that I don't want. Maybe I should write a book about it?

Mine would be a book of two words, the second one is 'off' and the
    first rhymes with your nickname.

I don't think it's always fair to shoot the messenger, so I've come up
with a number of alternative ways of making people shut up and go away.

Only the terminally stupid would be interested. So you've probably got a

I want to write a book, however, your first book is the one that all the
others are judged by. This may not be the best one to start with. :)
