    You summed it up exactly.

    Of course, there is a competitive element, we would loved to have
    finished with a better position, but at the end of the day, we all
    started this as friends and that's the way it's ended. There really
    just isn't room in that equation for egos and puffed out chests.

    It's because 9 tiems out of 10 the directions will do nothing to
    clarify the situation. Remember trying to find petrol in Longwy on the
    Fr/Lux border? Three times we asked for directions - it was only when
    I flagged down that guy on a cbr1000 who I then followed that we got
    even a vague clue.
    You're wierd.

    Having said that, I guess it depends on how long it takes before
    recognising that one is 'lost', rather than just temporarily
    geographically challenged.

    Quite, I'm happy to ask for directions if I'm lost. Although if I don't
    have to be somewhere by a specific time I'm perfectly happy to randomly
    drive about and see where I end up.
