Yes, but still awaiting photo opportunity as that fuckwit
out in the sticks keeps cancelling on me.

True, but it gives me a deadline to get the 600/620 sorted and
then give it a proper shakedown on the track. It's only an hour
from here, so no real hassle for me. Plus it's only £85.

It's not a brilliant track, but it's a real track and it is cheap.
The 600/620 doesn't really like it either given the long straights,
but it's good enough for shake down testing.

They've improved Snett a lot in the last 5 years, although it always
had a really good garage setup from what I can remember. The new road
certainly helps to get cars in and out much better, but I think that
was more to do with the sunday market than race events!

The garages were fairly new when I worked there in around 1988-89, but I
don't know when they were built exactly. I can't remember much else
about the place tbh, although I can remember being the chequered flag
man on the raised starting gantry on a blazing hot summers day, kinda
cool for a 16 year old.

    I wonder...

Adie fell for this classic at the TT last year:

    Q) "Can I have a go on your R1?"

    A) "Yes."

    Q) "Can Christofire have a go on your R1?"

    A) "Yes."

"Good, we're using it to do Jurby endurance in October."

She changed her mind very quickly and might get suspicious if I ask to
    borrow it just before France.
