    Update Des: I emailed a friend today who happens to be the owner of a
    fairly specialised UK cycle builders / shop (not the other one local
    to me and much smaller). By reply he copied me on the email he had
    sent Oredon, asking if they were looking for a UK distributor. ;-)
    Thanks again for that, I think he just sent it in English but put it
    in capitals so they would understand. ;-)

    I've carried our double airbed several times - carefully folded, it
    fits snugly in the bottom of a standard tailpack, leaving space for a
    4-season bag on top of it as well as room for the airpump, torch and
    other small essentials.

    For cycle camping or bike short stays we use the nylon (rather than
    rubber) style airbeds.

    They are much lighter and pack smaller than the traditional rubber
    airbeds and properly inflated, provide a reasonably comfortable (if a
    bit narrow) bed.
