Terminal 5

Nothing wrong with it. Turned up at 6AM on Tuesday had a look around,
almost missed my plane at 7.25 ('cos I didn't realise there were trains
to take one to the B and C gates.

Returned this evening, car waiting outside for me.

Less delays than in Terminal 1.

Then again I didn't put any luggage in the hold.

 

deadmail () gurgled happily, sounding much like they
were saying:

Friend of ours landed at T5, long-haul, on Monday evening. By the time
they'd got off the plane, done passport control, and got to the baggage
hall - their luggage was lazily going round in circles waiting to be
picked up.

 

Only went into the plebs Terraces one. Nice enough, comfortable chairs,
not as crowded as the First Lounge used to be at T1.

Will investigate the First Lounge next week and report back.
