Had an FZS600 before the Sprint. Lovely engine, nice easy bike. Fazer
Thou I expected to be similar but with some madness thrown in.

 

Well the newer one as Adie has might be ok. I don't know. The older
versions are sheds, this I do know.

 

Likewise. Well, junior school, anyway. Infants is bit blurry.

 

The pre 07 models are dull and wooden with horrible seats. Not like an
R1 of said vintage in any way.

Infants is a doddle - Mrs Hazlewood, Mrs Grindrod (formerly Miss Brown),
then Mrs Ridgeway, all of whom I can remember reasonably clearly. I can
even just about remember playschool. Certain occasionon, anyway.

I have a great memory for useless shit. Comes in hand at pub quizzes.

as much. I only wish I'd bought a faired one so I'm hoping the hour
Andy has just spent putting a screen on it will help.

Flitwick have an 08 model new faired one for 7200 IIRC. and I think
its bloo.

The fazer just doesn't appeal to me. My old 600 did right up until the
time I got ready to move on up.

I think I commented that it was the fastest two-wheeled truck I'd ever
ridden. I didn't say I liked it.

I didn't think it handled particularly well, the brakes were mediocre,
it felt way too heavy for a bike of that capacity compared to the likes
of the ZZR1400 and the switchgear is a fucking mess. Also, for what it
costs, where's the ABS?

I'd throw that amount of money at something like a ZZR14 or a Busa and
know it'll get me where I'm pointing it at.

 

The brakes are fucking stunning Loz? I mean they are probably the best on
any bike i have owned, included K7 Gixxer thous?

ABS is shit, it fucks up the feel of the front brake.

The BM is just such a Q bike, no-one expects it to be so fast & in honesty,
it does handle quite well, but I am quite a bit heavier than you mate.
