I despair. Works fine for me. Look here: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/The_Newsgroup/Posting_Style/Some_Help_for_Newbies_Posting_to_ukrm.html Second non-one-line paragraph from the bottom of the page.
That's me. Helpful to a fault, gracious and modest. That quotefix must be working, seems good from here - although the Agent family of newsreaders is pretty non-discriminatory and will snip a sig just on two dashes, unlike some that require strict compliance with standards and insist on the space/return too.
To a fault, obviously. A 'feature' of OE, however, is that it usually chops the "redundant" space after the dashes even on manual insertion (f'naar), thus neatly fucking the poster over. As this apparently isn't happening I assume that Quotefix is functioning. Of course you could always save yourself the greif and d/l a proper newsreader.
Your newbie's error compounded: there is a YTC#2 and it isn't Bruce. Get a clue, check the FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/CLUES/acronyms/acronyms_sig.html and scroll to the foot of the page.

If you had been north of the Artic Circle[1], that would have been a possibility. [1] And the bridge would have to be as well
****, you are funny. Your intelligence level is on a par with the 7 year olds you obviously teach. So, stop being a tosser.
We didn't go specifically to see the bridge - Milau just happened to be on our route across France. If I want to ride over a big bridge, the Severn's only half hour down the road.
