Bugger that. A sweet won't do anyone, any damage. Unless: a. They choke on it or b. It's poisoned. Gimme a Nuke anyway. Problem sorted.
I can see how I might be accused of a) but B)! Never ! Nope, keep toying with a trip to Milau to see the bridge. Could come via Paris next year though, en route to Italy. Gibbo is over at his gaff if you want to pop over.
I was convinced that we[1] saw said bridge on our recent trip, as we were climbing out of Tulle in the dordogne. I was very disappointed whan I checked on a map later to find that we were a hundred miles away from it, so it wasn't very likely. Where you going? [1] Well, Champ and me. -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. A mirage ? Italy , YTC Not sure where yet, just eyeing up bits, probably the northern end, within reach of a beach. We fancy an "easy" holiday next year, a dry one . Doing this will mean we can have a play through France on the way down, dip into the Alps etc and the same on nthe way back.
I'll assume sir's finger slipped; here, have an extra "l". I am slightly worried that YTC and I have a shared desire to see said bridge...
Here ya go: http://photobucket.com/albums/a64/MuddyStuff2/Swiss Tour 2005/?actio n=view¤t=P1000172.jpg There - you've seen it now. I must admit I found it rather uninspiring.
I'd swear that's the one we saw from 100 miles away... Did you ride over it? -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. Ace (brucedotrogers a.t rochedotcom) \`\ | /`/ GSX-R1000K3 `\\ | //' BOTAFOT#3, SbS#2, UKRMMA#13, DFV#8, SKA#2 `\|/` `
The weather was perfect that day - dry & warm, but with enough cloud to stop the sun turning you into a sweaty mess. The run down to Barcelona a few days later was a different story (fucking hot), but riding over the Susten Pass in torrential rain a couple of days after that cooled us down again.
"Zan \(CBR1000F\) - www.zanziba.prodigynet.co.uk/pictures" This is meant in the nicest possible way. Imagine you have a dinner party for good friends who've known each other for years. Some bloke turns up who you've never met before and attempts to dominate the conversation. He doesn't realise that half the things you're talking about are injokes or shared experiences that have happened years ago, but instead takes offence at comments not even aimed at him. He reminds you of a child in his attention seeking behaviour, especially as he tries to force his company and opinions on everyone. Wouldn't it be better if he'd just kept his mouth shut, listened to the other people at the party, and tried to learn a little bit more about them before being such an obnoxious git? You're a teacher, yet you are currently acting like the new kid in the class who has low self esteem and something to prove. HTH.
Well if that's not the very essence of ukrm then I can't imagine what would be. "Pass the brandy DNC, old bean old pal."
