A good afternoon at the Haynes test track. Conclusions:
    a) I declare the rebuilt YZ250 motor well and truly run in.
    b) After having a go on it the lad's YZ85 is as quick as it looks.
    c) He is a better rider than me but I am a marginally better camera man.
Too lazy to pan, so he left his Coolpix on the top of a post.

Dang nabbit I forgot about that - could've made that today. Nice weather
    for it too.

Lad certainly seems to use most of the available black top.

Not bad at all. Just starting to spit with rain as we packed up at 5pm.
My excuse is that he has Bridgestone full race wets and I was going for
maximum length of time giving it the beans in a straight line to run it
in. It feels significantly different with a functioning power valve,
Boyersen reeds, a new piston and an FMF fatty pipe. Much more bottom end
than it used to have before. At least I'm pretty sure now that it won't
    seize at Hartland next Sunday.
