The engineering help was much appreciated...

Unfortunately that does mean that I don't have any excuse to stop me
from sorting out the clutch on the Pan. Let's hope it doesn't turn into
    a saga of Dogderesque proportions.

NP, it was nice to meet you.

There probably will be, if I can remember to take some.

Your unbent lever will feature on my CB450 resto page soon.

    http://www.unixconsult.co.uK/bike/cb450k.html - pictures of the
Scotchbloks to appear on there by Monday night. Plus, most likely, the
    unbent gear lever.

Saga? It only took one weekend.

It took over two years to summon up the courage to attempt it, I'll

    'Ello Mr Dodger.

Here's the plan: It's looking very likely I'm going to become the
custodian of a GTS1000 in the fairly near future.

I'm also looking to adopt a TS250. Apparently it's had a hard life, and
no one loves it at the moment. I think that's very sad, and promise to
love and cherish it, and treat it with love and kind consideration.

    And thrap its nuts off.

I think we need to talk...

    Sounds good.
We do. I didn't get into the garage today, as Linda's anti-CBX stance
to the form of not one, but two trips to B&Q.

I think she's worked out that it's okay to say I can have one, as long
as she makes a financial impossibility in the meantime.

I shall draw up an inventory tomorrow, then.

(and compose an Ebay listing for a shiny blue motorcycle.)

in the meantime, here are some pictures ...

I wouldn't worry overmuch. If you're happy with the amount discussed
earlier, I shall commence trailer-related discussion with a Ginger
Gentleman, and we'll have a deal. I'll relieve you of all traces of said
    vehicle.
Cor, it is shiny, innit? I reckon that will go to a good home for a good

Cunning? CUNNING? I'll give you fucking cunning...

"Honey, a bike might be following me home soon. In fact... Two bikes."

"Oh, OK. By the way, when I get my new car, for every month it doesn't
get to be in the garage, you're making the payment. OK? Night..."

In fairness, that one is a bit hard to argue. Her current motor's coming
up on two years old, and has never been in the garage.

Point of order - error of omission on my part - there is some welding
    required.

The little lug wot you bolt the tank to the frame through has snapped
off - I still have it, though. Needs a little weld, about an inch
    long.

Oddly, the 185 broke there, too.

It's sufficiently worrying that you probably wouldn't have noticed,
    had I not mentioned it.

    I'll take a piccie tomorrow.

If I'm feeling particularly reckless, I might try to start it.
