That Halfords Pro 150pc socket/spanner set

    Frankly it's a bargain. I priced up the set as individual items and smaller
    sets and it came to >£340. For £99 it's amazing value for money for kit with
    a lifetime guarantee (confirmed in writing by Halfords).
    Added another portable 3 drawer Pro cabinet at a reduced price of £27.00
    (down from £52) and No1 son has a very nice xmas pressie awaiting him.
    Thanks to Tim (iirc) who posted this last week.

    I'm tempted but I can't see anything in the kit that I don't already

    I bought it for him so I can actually get my own tools back from time to
    time. Anyway, as you well know, you can *never* have too many tools.

    Yup. It's a lot bettrr made than my Clarke cabinet. This here Stella can is
    made of better stuff.

    The Clarke HD Plus box I had was rock solid. The Draper Expert one
    that's replaced it, despite being twice the price, feels like it's made
    of tissue paper in comparison.
