    [unwanted mail]

    Don't re-address the unwanted mail.

Cross out the address with a single line. Write "not known at this
address" and sling it in a post box.

Royal Mail will contact the sender and request that they remove the
recipeint from the mailing list. The sender has a legal duty to comply and
can be fined if they don't.

I've used this method to get rid of unwanted mail addressed to my late
father and more recently, the hundreds of letters we used to get for
previous residents in my student accommodation.

Invite them round. Sit them in reception for a couple of hours.

"Sorry, he's had to go into a meeting. Can I get you another cup of
    coffee?"

Alternatively, invite them round, kill them, stack the bodies in the cellar.
Nobody will actually come looking for them.

A company run by an asian bloke? In Bradford? And that's odd?

    Stay off the crack, son.

Well ... this mail would go directly to them as they have a returns
    procedure for their clothing.

The alternative is to go down the British apathy route and bleat about it
but do nothing. I now feel, at least, that I've done "something"

I'd have thought writing "recipient deceased" would've had the same effect
    :) but nope

I read it that you had returned the items to the sender rather than let
    Royal Mail do that bit
