Full-on thunder and lightning, with aquaplaning through a small river
known as the A505.

Are we talking Veggie here? He's someone I'd suspect of being stupid
enough to try Standon ford in anything smaller than a Landrover County

Did everyone know about this or something? I appeared to be the *only*
bike coming out of London last night, horrible traffic and yeah it teed
it down.

 

heh, I was in the car on the M4 doing about 25mph. It went really dark
but the lightning display was superb.

I definitely did *not* feel sorry for the poor sod on the ZXR750
filtering past.

 

I think I was doing about 26.

I had more than the usual number of plonkers changing lane right in
front of me.

I stayed completely dry. The only problem was I couldn't go fast enough
to clear my visor, so had it partially up. So it got rained on, on the
inside, and wouldn't clear at all.

Last time this was asked, I think Champ said he'd seen him in Aldi,
and he (Verdigris, not Champ) was on the sausage, having outlived the
technology with which he was familiar.

 

Maybe you two could get together and go to Job Club, or something.
