That'll be the indicators sorted

No wonder the Morini indicators didn't want to play. Someone had stuck
6V bulbs in there which did make for a bright, exciting but ultimately
    short life.

Apart for the bulbs and the fact that one of the cables was broken, I
still haven't found any major desasters. Inlet valves were a bit
loose, outlet valves a bit tight, and of course the thread in one of
the holes for the valve cover bolts is stripped. Hooray. Not
unexpected (they all do that - Weggy, careful when doing those bolts
up) so it looks like it'll want an insert. Ah well, I guess that can
wait until I get the heads gas flowed.

I'm beginning to get worried. Apart from the duff oil pressure switch,
plugs with the wrong heat range (BP6 instead of BP7) and a resistor
plug cap where there shouldn't be one, I can't find anything wrong
    with this bike.

In this weather it even starts first kick without choke.

Nigel Eaton was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
It isn't, it's just too frigging hot outside. On these you normally
need the choke on both carbs on up to about 15C, choke on one carb up
    to about 25C...
