That's going to cost...

  1. Checked the valve clearances on the ZX9R. Only two inlet valves are OK.
    Just over bottom limit. One of the exhaust valves is 0.01 mm minimum is
    ..22. Do you think it's harmed the valves or after re-shimming [1] it will
    be OK?

    [1] shims are expensive I know.

  2. It'll be fine. And the chances are that on a re-shim you can swap
    several shims around anyway.

  4. could be even cheaper. A mate has a box full of them.
    Thanks, I thought so myself but just wanted to make sure. It's a bastard
    to work on though. The cam shaft cover is one piece. I will have to paint
    the cams with white paint so i can see the timing marks.
