Many thanks to all of you that have sent good will wishes to Mike
during his illness and hospital admission.
He has really appreciated your ongoing support and thoughts.
Unfortunately he remains very ill at the current time, but I wanted to
thank you on his behalf and of course from myself.

I've asked about Mike's particular condition and it is apparently something
that can be treated/fought.

 

Good. I was up there recently, with Bonwick and Platy and a few others,
after the Stafford Show, and Mike didn't look too chipper.

The Black Horse really is one of the best pubs I know, anywhere.

Yes, he was getting chemo weeks ago.

 

It's an unutterably shit situation though and TBH I'm sorry I said a word
about it as it's a family matter.
