In my books, a titty has to be worth at least 10 km so combining fingers and
top tummies you've got at least 30 kms of advance notice at your disposal.

What the hell, they should just be out anyway enjoying the breeze if you ask
    me. :)

    Cheers,
    Dave E (Sydney)
(A real sucker for the old shirt potatos).

shirt potatoes? <shaking head> top tummies?

Dave, you have such a way with words...... <falling off chair>

A question though - if they were just "out enjoying the breeze anyway",
wouldn't that be misleading to all the poor buggers who thought there were
cops somewhere within the next 20kms and ruined their rides as a
    consequence????

On second thoughts, don't answer that.... <covering eyes and ears> la la
    laaaaaa!

No way Betty, if your two were out enjoying the breeze - we lads would
be greatfully apreciative of that. Our thoughts no doubt would along
the lines of the footy sprigs and their uses.

    Johno

    Beer?

Better send a pic so we can compare

hey, I once saw this really funny skydiving vid - there's some kind of
'tradition' of doing a nudie jump when you get to your 100th jump - anyway -
the effects of the wind-rush on people's, um, sensittve bits (especially
blokes, ha ha ha) is worth a look. But I'm thinking that any fuller-figured
(or just plain big-breasted) woman would have a similar problem on a bike at
speed......I'd hate it if my "cops ahead" signal turned out to be telling
the people BEHIND me something they already knew.... bwahahaha!

betty, keeping her jacket on, Johno sweetie...
PS what's a bloody footy sprig? Gosh, my
grasp of the English language is increasing in
exponential leaps since I started posting here!

Well Biker Betty, I am highly chuffed with your flattering remarks. :)

I'm sure that any speeding infringement blues would be greatly overshadowed
by the delicious sight of baby fillers getting all jiggy (as it were) in the
    oncoming breeze.

Oops - sorry about that. I wasn't too rude was I??

    Cheers,

<splutter> holy crap.... <chuckle> how did I know you were going to say
something like that???? But "baby fillers"? Geez, you don't let up, do
you???? <guffaw, rolling around on floor>

And I just thought they were boobs!!!!! Dave, you are a poet! An
    artiste....<snigger> a modern-day Shakespeare!!! byoooodiful!

Holy crap, what an inspiration you are..... I couldn't help myself..... all
that talk of shirt potatoes made me feel all sort of artistical and
    creative, like <snigger>

Inspired by Dave E (Sydney)'s poetic ramblings....

    Ode to Bosoms...

Those shirt potatoes bobbling in the breeze
A fulsome welcome to the eager sun
who knows not of the signal work they do
to soothe and warn those riders on the run...
For every nipple sends a warning blast
That coppers wait a mere 10ks ahead
But those who choose to just enjoy the view
Should not complain or whine - they are not dead!
And they enjoyed the lovely jiggy sight
of nice top tummies rippling in the sun
and should the coppers book them, it's all right
They rode, they looked, they perved and had some fun.
Oh raise a glass to bosoms in the wind
They tried to stop you speeding, but you grinned
And according to the coppers, mate, you sinned!

BRAVO BRAVO!!! An effort of the highest order! Not only that, but it in
support of a very worthy cause indeed.

Good lord!! This is the first time my corny efforts have been woven into a
poem, let alone one of such haute qualité. :)

    More flattery! :))

Sleep well and I will dream tonight of bare maidens on motorcycles. I shall
name this vision.... busts in gusts!

    Cheers,

aus.moto is a newsgroup. That means there's no way to know how many
    read it.

There may be about 100 who post to it which is quite a different
    thing.

When stats were sortof kept, usenet had between 1000 and 10,000
(depending on group) readers to writers. Even with the decline of
usenet you can assume that there are many more readers than writers.

  20. <grin>

What if all the cops (or at least the Armidale ones) drove round in
scruffy white tradesman vans, wearing yellow fluffy safety vests,
randomly flashing their headlights at the oncoming traffic? Wouldn't
that make everyone slow down to 60k and stomp out the road toll overnight?
