    And here's another.

I loved mine and do regret selling it. It wasn't perfect: the steering
really accentuated the fact that it was a bit lardy for a sprotsbike.
Oh, and those 'orrible Tokicho six-potters up front.

It sounded way nicer that a four, was tractable, smooth, reasonably
comfortable, had decent mirrors, huge under-hump storage, and was just
    that little bit different.

Well, it could be argued that the TLS scare stories killed the TLR; it
certainly put me off buying a TLS. Not the tankslapper scare, but the
cracking frame scare. Though I did read somewhere that the frame
problem (if it existed on more than a few bikes) was simply down to
the rotary damper mounting bolts working loose.

TBH the slow steering wasn't entirely down to the damper; that only
really affected slow corners. There was just something about the whole
plot that shouted 'I'm a heavy bastard, me', that I personally never
really got on with. Even with an Ohlins steering damper fitted and set
to, oh, half the damping of the original, it still felt like a heavy
bike with the additional occasional high-speed-onna-bumpy-road
'flick-flack' of the 'bars as well.

It's a shame that Suzuki didn't develop the bike further.
