And I'd like to go by bike. Soooo...is it possible to go to an
interview in a suit on a motorbike?

The trip will be about 2 hours, possibly wet. Panniers available. Any
    tips?

From personal experience I believe that turning up to a collar-and-tie
interview in biker gear is generally counterproductive.

Change into your whistle somewhere away from the interview and present
yourself in the manner which they want to see. Dishonest I know but it
is their prejudices that you have to pander to if you want the job.

Bearing in mind also; you are interviewing them and you have to set this
against whether or not you actually want to work for a management team
that is so easily swayed in their personal opinions.

    I've done it.

The main thing is to stick the suit & shoes in bin-bags to avoid any
damp, and find the nearest supermarket where you could use the loo to
    change.

Stick the leathers into the panniers & saunter across the road to the
    interview.

    Oh, good luck too.

TBH I'd hire a car for the day if the bike thing doesn't come off,
    however, I'd prefer the bike because;

    a) It'd give me an idea of the commute time on a bike.
    b) Heh, 2 hours on a bike beats 2 hours in a car!

I suppose I could do a dry(fnah) run and see what the issues are.

I think turning up in bike gear would be out of the question to be
honest. Hmmm...thinks back to Aerostitches again.

That's a great quote[1]! Was Pip really guilty of it?

Unless the interview is at 9am, you'll learn nothing useful about the
commute time. 2 hours in a car should leave you far more presentable
than 2 hours on a bike. Which is more important to you, getting the job
    or living the biker dream?

And a two hour commute is going to be a pisser no matter what transport
    you use.

So I'd say "get a job nearer home".

    What's the job.

Have to say I've interviewed a bunch and I wouldn't say appearences
have ever really put me off.

As long as you know what they do and how they do it... I find that
    helps!

    Good luck!

Like you want to have to explain a huge wet crotch on your interview. Avoid
that option unless you have no other.
You can ride to work as much as you like ONCE you get the job, and there's
little they can do about it in hindsight (unless your conditions of
employment are that you drive a car to work/ or drive a company car).

Would fitness be an issue here, and would he be able to make any appreciable
