The DT50 lives

  1. Well, we always knew it was a runner. But I bolted the plate onto the
back and took it round the block. As you do. And as you tell your son
    *not* to do.

Blimey. Restricted it ain't[1]. You can wheelie it in first, and it
zipped up to 40mph down Back Straight before having to brake for Fish &
    Chip Shop corner.

Sad Jamie. I'm hanging onto this myself... I never thought a nifty fifty
could be fun, but it is. Makes you feel like a teenager again. I can see
    why people buy Fizzies again.

Got a right-hand side panel, too. Still available and only ukp19
including the VAT. Yellow decals are unavailable but I'll copy them off
the other side, reverse them, and cut them out of yellow sticky vinyl.

[1] In addition to the 60cc kit and the K&N air filter, I've discovered
the pipe is a Gianelli, so 50mph should be on the cards.

They do indeed, the registration document for my YZF1000R Thunderace has
    it down as a......moped.

I'm hoping to get away with tear-arsing up and down the Stevenage cycle
lanes soon, and paying less road tax.
