    We don't have personal stuff on desks, for the same reason nobody has
    desk drawers. Almost every desk in our buildings are now hot-desks, and
    apart from admin staff everybody has a laptop, which they use in the
    office, out on site, or when working from home - they carry whatever
    paperwork they need with them.

    Almost everybody works from home at least 1 day a week.

    Our London office has the "no personal stuff" rule but our Worcester
    one doesn't. Reason is London is effectively a drop-in office. It's
    all hot-desk there.
