A Z200? I had one. I found every ride surprisingly forgetful.

    I've already agreed to buy a well-used sports-tourer. I won't need two.

You needed to take it on more interesting rides, then.

Why? Now you have no need to make a choice of steed when you ride.
Decisions are not good things to have to be making when you are riding,
having one less is a bonus.

    I fear the Z200's brakes.

ASAP, ideally, but I won't have sufficient funds until the end of the month.

Kawasaki have 0% on their new bikes at the moment, spread over three
    years.

Apparently. I'm trying not to think about it. Or the 700 quid-ish FC
quote I got from motorcycle direct.

I understand them all right: they're crap. I lust after decent brakes.

It was the 0% finance that finally made me go and buy the 10R. Once I
found someone willing to sell me one at what I considered a good price
it was a done deal. Of course the fact that it was blatantly obvious
that Kawasaki would sanitise the fucking thing when the new model came
out didn't influence me at all...

I have a spare GPZ500 front caliper here, yours for fiver. You'll find a
m/cyl cheap and I'm sure you can molish a mounting bracket for it.

If I didn't suspect you'd already had the snip I'd make sure I removed
any chance you had of breeding in the future by kicking your bollocks
up and out of the top of your head.

  18. I think a GPZ500 caliper on a Z200 would be even more frightening than
    the OE cable version, IYSWIM.

I mean, you'd flip the bike completely over.

    <Pause. Thinks>

    OK, as you were.
