Sainsburys do a couple of excellent chocolates around that level. Much
    nicer than G&B.

    A-fucking-men.

There is, however, a direct relationship between cocoa content and
    likelihood of tasting like crap.

  4. As per beer. Low alcohol beer always tastes of nothing (or something
'orrible). There are some exceptions of course, like that godawful stuff
    that Ace drinks.

    Hershey bars? horrible.

Again I'd say really good choccie by the likes of Lindt is nice as milk or
dark but as Ad said the latter with a glass of red or Port is a pleasant
    experience.

There is a *little* more to it.
The high solids Lindt has very little sugar content.
    Handy that, for the 'Mongs.

  7. Yes they are, but I was referring to Cadbury branded chocolate,
    availabe in the US.

There are only two places I know that you can buy "real" Cadbury chocolate
    in the US;
    - the British Embassy shop in Washington DC
    - the UK Pavilion in the Epcot Centre - Florida

Everything else branded as Cadbury in the US is made under license and
    tastes foul.

  9. There's plenty of others.
Yes as said above. It's very easy to tell the difference, the wrapper
    makes it quite clear.

Yet another leveraged buyout. Next step, asset stripping on both sides
to pay off the debt. Same old same old.

It's a great quote but the Cadbury family surrendered effective control
of the company when they took the money in 1969 so they can stick their
    protests up their collective arse.

    Yes, they have.

It's OK, it's only one word on the packet. I presume they decided that
stupid people thought "plain" ones were too boring or something.

I recently tried an asortment of 10 different chocolate from Pralus (the
    pyramid):

    http://www.chocolats-pralus.com/chocolat.php?pge=6&lang=en

Each plate is made from unmixed beans, you got the very distinctive
    flavours of different cocoa beans.

    Very fine.

Atria (formerly P Morris) spun off Kraft in 2007. Kraft is fully
independent & publicly listed on the NYSE.
