Nah, come on you were still trollied from the night before, admit it.
Oh that's not fair. Rotten buggers the lot of them.

Possibly more like Roland Barthes. Given the choice, would you prefer a
Citroen DS or a Facel Vega?

    that's a difficult choice actually.

There's a black DS in great condition that's regularly parked on the
main road in Northaw - I'm always vaguely tempted to stop and leave a
"is this for sale" note on it.

"Until now, the ultimate in cars belonged rather to the bestiary of
power; here it becomes At once more spiritual and more object-like,
and despite some concessions to neomania (such as the empty steering
wheel), it is now more homely , more attuned to this sublimation of
the utensil which one also finds in the design of contemporary
    household equipment."

    Sounds like my kinda wheels.

I have several volumes of DS-porn, but the time has never been quite right.
Of course, the DS leads us straight back to the pieds-noir, with the help of
    the OAS.

De Gaulle survived an assassination attempt by OAS gunmen, in part because
his DS was able to be driven safely with its tyres shot out. Remember the
opening scenes of Day of the Jackal?

My dad had a DW19, which was the cheaper & nastier version of the DS.

I have a one pair each of trainers, bike boots, smart boots and steel
toecap Cat boots. The odds are seriously stacked against my mixing and
matching any of those and not noticing.

Though I did go through a phase of getting to the front door before
realising I was wearing shoes but no trousers a while back. That could
    have been awkward.

Ooh, Ooh, I know this one.

Unmarked car, Swindon area, 3 points and a mild ticking off.

I've been looking, but I can't find the GS advert where they blow a front
tyre an instant before passing between two oncoming artics.

I've got 'em if you want 'em. They're not good enough quality to be worth
    uploading to ChavTube, though.

    Your mail work?
