    ....devised the diversion for the closed A1 south of Newark needs
    shooting.

    They'll let you join from Claypole, go one junction, take you off the
    A1, back north again (on the other carriageway) to the A46 (7 miles!)
    then down the A46 for 13 miles to the A52, then East on the A52 for 20
    miles to let you rejoin the A1 ten miles south of where they made you
    leave.

    Amd they'll stick you behind half a dozen coaches, a dozen artics, and
    it'll be raining. Again.

    Should be done by the middle of the week, then I'll be able to get my
