Okay, I'll be Mr Stupid: if that's the abstract, is there a link to the
    actual paper?

And is there any actual science in it?

Seems to be confirmation of the bleeding obvious at the end :)

I keep buying Uvex Wings cos I can't go out and try any new helmets.

On the right is the heading `FULL TEXT OPTIONS'. Under that is a link
    to a PDF.

Another factor, which I pointed out on the Yahoo Tiger group years ago,
is what you're wearing. My textile jackets cause noticeably more helmet
noise than leathers. I'd guess this is due to the looser material up
the arms & shoulders disrupting the airflow, but wibble.

Interesting that Bath uni is collaborating with the old teacher-training
    place.

'Efforts to reduce the harmful effects of noise in motorcycling
should, then, move to studying the whole system of rider, helmet,
    motorcycle and external environment.'

So, to summarise: 'Use ear plugs'.

  11. We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Krusty"

Nicely done - although I would like to see the old RT fairing in
    comparison.
Typical; we do all the work and get no credit.

Can't say I've ever noticed that, but it should really have a bearing.

Nah, that's academic speak for 'give us more funding'. I recall
mention of wanting an amount for a stuntman.
