Washing my manky old AS gloves to try get rid of the smell. Christ, reminds
    me of making baby bottles...

Lets see if they survive Milton & 40c wash in the machine..

No chance, they are clean apart from 5 years of manky sweat :)

They are fucking expensive to replace at £120.

Bike replacement interval? Every other week.
Glove replacement interval? Once a decade.

    Is it me?

For about 10ms I thought this post might be a critique of "Paradise
Lost"[1], but then I noticed it was from you.

I misread it as "the stench of Milton Keynes" which had me puzzled for a
while, even after I'd read the post.

It worked a treat too. Just need to soften the leather a bit & they are like
    new.

Cheers to whoever tipped me on that one.

the subtle thing about Milton Keynes is that it doesn't smell
    particularly bad literally.

You've obviously not been to Willen when the wind's blowing in the wrong
    direction.
