The mexican and I hit the floor this AM and checked the vehicles..
The Cadillac was a frozen solid chunk of ice.. The doors were
locked and frozen so solid, they wouldn't open..

The Black GMC pickup, sitting next to the Cadillac was also a
solid sheet of ice.. however, I was able to get the passenger side
door open and she cranked right up.. Idling in the driveway for
a while.. the pickup thawed enough to make the trip across Irving
to take the mexican to work..

The sun finally came up about 8:00 this morning and most of the
clouds disappeared.. The temperatures stayed in the 20's and who
knows what the chill factor was..

Checked on the Green Vulcan and the cover was frozen on that
thing .. I'll take a better look when the temps rise above freezing..

I'm sure glad that this ice storm didn't catch me on the road some-
where .. Been there and done that in my earlier years.. Truth be
told, I'm sure not anxious to do it again and will avoid it, at all costs.

All you tough guys have fun and I'll sure enjoy reading of your
adventures while you brave these elements.. It is far too cold to
be out and about on a motorcycle.. Regards

I went South on I35 for a few miles this morning and saw a lot of wrecker
service/body work need. With the road in pretty good shape, a trap was
awaiting at the ice covered bridges for the unsuspecting.
I saw some Walkers (aka pedestrians) fall on their ass too. I couldn't see
any gray as their heads were covered.
