The unpredictability of MotoGP.

I was having a discussion at work with a colleague who loves the F1. I
also used to be a fan but lost interest over the last years as it's no
    longer exciting or unpredictable.
I told him I loved the MotoGP as the racing was "real" (they overtake)
and it was hard to predict a winner of any race and often the result was
decided on the last laps and also each race it could be a different podium.

F1 seems stale the races are usually decided in the pits and by pit
strategy, the same teams usually win and a drivers real talent isn't
    always displayed.

The opposite could be said of MotoGP.

Although Rossi has walked away with the championship this year, the
individual races have often been exciting and very hard to predict who
would win and even then the last lap has several times decided the
winner, look at this weekend Qatar, the practice sessions have been all
over the place, to predict a winner for tomorrows race is basically
impossible, that's what makes the Moto GP so exciting.

I love the Moto GP it's the best bikes with the best riders on the best
tracks in the world, despite all the politics and Rossi domination it's
still a great and very entertaining sport, by comparison F1 is just
    mediocre.

I very much agree with you. Although this year it is pretty easy to
predict who will win the majority of races!! Saying that I would said
Caparossi would have taken two in a row, hopefuly I good sign for next
    year.

However it doesnt use the best tracks in the world.

Qatar.... For a start it is one of the most boring circuits in the
world. The circuit its self is uninspiring, and doesn't really lend its
self to good racing as much as other circuits. Being smack bang in the
middle of nowhere in a desert the circuit is extremely bland. Their is
no scenery to speak of, unless you enjoy looking at sand. Also as its a
new circuit it has no history or heritage. It just lacks any sort of
character or soul, very very uninspiring. Add to that no atmosphere due
to the sparse crowd and its just a dull event all round.
Lets face it, its only down to money that they even go there. There
seems to be very little interest in the country itself towards MotoGP.

Also Brand Hatch is a far better track than Donnington. Apart from
those two the other tracks are pretty good, but their are better
alternative in most countries. Why have they gone from Suzuka to Motegi
    for example...
