"Court chairman Caerwyn Roberts said that it was an exceptionally high
    speed and was irresponsible driving.

"We know that stretch of road, it is undulating with several farm
entrances and a custodial sentence is inevitable. But we are prepared to
suspend the sentence," he told Jones.

In the same way a learner has to pass a test before being allowed to drive.

    YTC!

GC is being pedantic. The reporter should've written "extended test". An
advanced test is a postgraduate qualification after a standard or
    extended test pass.

I just assumed he'd been smoking the local peat.

    Is there any left?

Anyway, his least lucid times are when he's been sniffing the used frying
    oil

    In message
I know the road as its just a few minutes away. It's a very long stretch
and us locals know the cops keep an eye on it.
He overtook on double whites and past one of those hatched white line
    junction lanes.

With an unmarked bike following, watching and I assume recording.
What can you admit to? Careless? Wasn't just speeding.

So it's a 30 month ban and close shave with prison for dangerous and a
    lack of rear obs.
Can we assume that if he'd had a clear road and no dodgy (1) overtakes
he would have had less for the 153mph?

Not that I'm bothered; I never go that fast.....

    1. Ignoring road markings.
